If you really want to game on the toilet, there are portable options, but that didn't stop one YouTuber modding his toilet to fit a gaming PC inside.

YouTube channel Basically Homeless documents the modification of an extra large toilet tank into a gaming rig that also still functions as a toilet, albeit with significantly less water to flush.

The toilet rig consists of an Intel Core i7-12700 processor and stock cooler, 64GB of G-Skill Trident Z5 RGB DDR5-5600 RAM, and an Asus GeForce RTX 3060 Phoenix V2 single fan graphics card plugged into an MSI MEG Z690I Unify mini-ITX motherboard. Cuts were made into the top of the tank to fit a cooling fan, and the front of the tank to create a window for viewing the PC (and water) inside.

The water was kept separate from the PC components using plastic panels glued together to create a makeshift water wall, which initially leaked. After generously spraying all the water wall joins with Flex Seal, the leak was fixed and the PC worked. To complete the build, a small fold-down table was created for a mouse and keyboard below a 27-inch MSI 1440p 240Hz gaming monitor mounted on the wall.

The gaming rig works, but there's many reasons not to try this at home. Top of the list is water and electricity not mixing well, and especially so when you're relying on Flexi Seal for safety and your bare bum is in such close proximity to the inevitable disaster waiting to happen. Also, while this isn't the reason the Nintendo Switch is so popular, it's a much better option for gaming on a toilet. The fold-down table would also work with a gaming laptop, but that wouldn't draw half as many YouTube views, would it?
